Installation Help

Aug 18, 2016 by HUB Controls

The Hub Controller can be installed in 5 minutes.

The HUB Controller has a rechargeable battery that is powered by the existing 2 wires on the wall, meaning that you don't need to change your existing wires.
This is what makes the HUB so simple to install and compatible with most heating systems

Easy to Install in only 5 minutes:

Step 1
 - Turn off the power to your heating system at the mains using the circuit breaker.

Step 2 - Remove your mechanical thermostat. Safely disconnect the wires.

Step 3a - Two-Wire system
Install the HUB base plate unit and connect the 2 wires to "L" and "V1" on the base plate. If you are unable to identify the wire type, please contact one of our consultants on +353 1 901 0367.
WARNING: Connecting the wires incorrectly will damage your HUB.

Step 3b - Three-Wire system
Install the HUB base plate unit and connect 'L' and 'V1' to the top two wire slots, just as in the Two-Wire system installation. Connect the Neutral wire to the bottom. If you are unable to identify the wire type, please contact one of our consultants on +353 1 901 0367.
WARNING: Connecting the wires incorrectly will damage your HUB.

Step 4 - Tighten the HUB base plate to your wall using the screws provided. Don't forget to use the washer to make sure it's level.

Step 5 - Connect the HUB display to the base plate aligning the display with the right side of the base plate. Once done, push the left side into place until it "clicks".

Step 6 - The HUB Controller will start automatically so follow the screen instructions to proceed to setup. You will need to put your programmer or clock to "constant on" (not "off" or "auto"). You're done!
